Bio:
My name is Erica Pinkett and I am 24 years old. I am from Boston mass however I now reside in Atlanta Georgia. My measurements are 34 – 27 -42. I been modeling since I was 18 years old. Started doing stuff in the community like fashion shows, promo events anything to get my face out there. Once I went off to college, I started modeling for a urban fashion store in Washington d.c. named up against the wall. Being a student at Howard university allowed me to get a lot of exposure just because there were so many events that took place like the annual homecoming fashion show, video auditions that took place on campus, etc. I then had a baby girl, and stopped modeling for a while. Just last year in June Mike Styles from style elite modeling agency in Maryland offered me a two year contract. I did the “thug luv” video with DJ Kay slay feat ray j, maino, papoose, and red cafe, and I just did the “bring it back” video with mjg and 8 – ball feat. young dro. Hennywiz – How are you doing today, Erica?

Erica – I’m fine, just enjoying the Atlanta sun!

Hennywiz – First off, Welcome to the Daily dose…

Erica – thank you for having me, I’m so excited to be a part of this site. There are so many beautiful girls that have been featured before me, again thank you for the opportunity.

Hennywiz – Where are you from originally and what’s your ethnic background?

Erica – I am originally from Boston and I am African American and Trinidadian.

Hennywiz – What or who inspired you to begin career in modeling?

Erica – People would say I should model, but I knew I had the body type for the urban modeling market like music videos, and print work.

Hennywiz – I know you’ve been featured in several music videos; from Kay slay’s thug love, 8ball and MJG etc… Were these individuals easy to work with?

Erica – DJ Kay slay was so cool, he was very chill, but still got the work done. I actually got a chance to work with him because of his nephew “Gunnie” who does a lot of work with Kay slay’s models, invited me to come out to New York and be a part of the project.. When I moved to Atlanta my booking agent called me and told me about the video shoot with 8 ball and mjg feat. Young dro. They were so cool to work with, and the director Gabe Hart was extremely detail oriented. He is very good at what he does. But the bring it back video was the most fun because lots of celebs came out to support like slim from 112, young buck, and the grand hustle team.

Hennywiz – Have done any screen features television show appearances as of yet?

Erica – Not yet but I did get an offer to do a new reality show coming soon on VH1. But I don’t think I will be accepting that offer just because I want to have an acting career in the future and I have to be careful what kind of projects I get involved with.

Hennywiz – You’ve taken some amazing photos. The concepts behind them are brilliant is there a particular photographer you prefer to work with that brings out your creativity?

Erica – Actually, I love working with people who are hungry and have an artistic eye. Some models go to famous photographers, and that is smart if you want to boost your career. However I prefer to work with photographers like John Brewer, who did two of my photoshoots. You can view his work at www.brewerphotography.com. But I also enjoyed working with my manager Mike Styles who is also photographer.

Hennywiz – With all the photoshoots you’ve done so far, which ones have been your most memorable?

Erica – I loved the photoshoot I did on the beach. It was 3 a.m. and I had the beach to myself. That photoshoot I did with John Brewer.

Hennywiz – Have you been featured in any publications as of yet?

Erica – I was featured on an online magazine site named urbansteez.com. Hopefully soon you guys will see me in some more major publications.

Hennywiz – What impact has modeling had on your personal life?

Erica – I really didn’t allow modeling to affect my personal life. I think that’s a decision you have to make. I always kept modeling and all of the business connections I’ve made to stay on one side and my personal life to stay on another. Never have I mixed them together.

Hennywiz – Overall, what has been your opinion of the modeling industry as a whole?

Erica – I think models don’t get the money they deserve. But it’s up to the models to look at the game as a business and not just do projects just to be seen. But overall, the modeling industry is a very lucrative business and that’s why models have to take control of their own careers.

Hennywiz – What are some of your long term goals as you continue to progress in your career?

Erica – I plan to act one day, right now I’m just doing my research

Hennywiz – What has been some of the highlights of your career so far?

Erica – I’ve gotten a chance to meet lots of influential people in both the modeling business and the music industry. And I’ve learned a lot from these people, knowledge that will take me very far.

Hennywiz – Is acting a career path you are trying to pursue?

Erica – Yes! I am so inspired by actors who have been trained to do what they do and those who just naturally have talent. I have gone on a few auditions already, so hopefully you all will see me soon.

Hennywiz – What would be a dream role for you?

Erica – My dream role will be to play a battered woman who finds her way at the end.

Hennywiz – What other interest do you have besides modeling?

Erica – I actually went to school for psychology, and I want to use my psych knowledge to start a foundation for young girls to help them break the chains of oppression, poverty, and abuse they may be used to.

Hennywiz – What are some of your hobbies?

Erica – I like to run, read, go out with my girls, and of course shop!

Hennywiz – Now let’s get personal, lol!! Do you have a significant other? If so, how does he or she feel about you acting and modeling?

Erica – First of all it’s a he! Lol. But he is very understanding when it comes down to my modeling career, and he is my biggest fan! I love him for supporting me. He is very secure in himself; therefore it doesn’t bother him when I go to video sets or photoshoots. No matter how small my project may be, he always makes me feel like I’m doing the most official shit in the world! I love my babe!

Hennywiz – What qualities do you look for when choosing a significant other?

Erica – He has to make me feel like a queen! I’ve been through enough shit to know I deserve it. He has to also love his mom because if he doesn’t respect her, he won’t respect me. Hygiene is also important, if you don’t smell good, complete turn off!!!

Hennywiz – What is your preference, men or women?

Erica – Men Men Men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hennywiz – What advice do you have for someone that would like to approach you in public?

Erica – Approach me! I won’t bite, but I might slap you if you grab me. Lol Just keep it respectful that’s all.

Hennywiz – What are some of the worst pick up lines you ever been hit with?

Erica – Any line is a disaster to me, why use a line. Be real! But the worst one has to be hey red bone, what’s up whitcha? I’m like ain’t shit up with me if that’s all you can come up with.

Hennywiz – What turns you on the most?

Erica – So many things, where do I begin. I love smelling a man’s cologne when he walks into the room, just makes me want to eat him alive! I also love a man who knows how to dress, if you are a grown ass man I’d rather see you in Hugo boss or zegner, you know some grown man shit. And a man who knows how to rub and touch my body also turns me on.

Hennywiz – What is an ultimate turn off for you?

Erica – The ultimate turn off is when someone is cheap!!! Along with bad hygiene and disrespect!

Hennywiz – Is there an inner freak in you or a casual romantic?

Erica – Definitely an inner freak! But only for my man.

Hennywiz – What would be the Ultimate sexual fantasy for you?

Erica – Get to know me, and you won’t have to ask! lol

Hennywiz – What’s the most expensive gift you have bought a significant other?

Erica – I bought my man a whole living room set for his birthday one year and that ran my damn pockets! But it was worth it to see his face.

Hennywiz – What part of your body are you most complimented on and what are your favorite assets on you?

Erica – I get complimented mostly on my behind, legs and lips.

Hennywiz – Give a description of a normal evening at home with you.

Erica – I am very laid back, I will cook a meal and set the table with candles. After dinner, we can take a bubble bath and after that ….. Don’t disturb!

Hennywiz – Do you have any tattoos? If so where?

Erica – Yes, on my back I have a tattoo.

Hennywiz – Do you have a special hidden talent? If so, can you reveal it?

Erica – I am very multitalented! Lol But besides the hidden talents, I also draw and paint.

Hennywiz – What is one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you personally?

Erica – People always say, “Damn you kind of ghetto” or “you are really approachable.” But I’m just a cute girl from the hood, I isn’t nobody….yet. lol!!

Hennywiz – What are some of your guilty pleasures?

Erica – Oh god, I love chocolate ice cream! I am so embarrassed to eat it in front of a guy because I dog that shit!

Hennywiz – Name some things you couldn’t live without?

Erica – Sex, money, shoes, and chocolate ice cream.

Hennywiz – What genre of music are you into?

Erica – You know what, I love all types of music. I can listen to lady gaga, jay z, mobb deep, and whoever else has a hot track.

Hennywiz – Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Erica – I see myself acting in major films. Fingers crossed.

Hennywiz – What can we expect from you in the near future?

Erica – Calendars, movies, videos, magazines.

Hennywiz – What advice do you have for inspiring actors and models out there trying to break into the industry?

Erica – I say stay true to yourself and not to follow the next one! Be about your business at all times and make sure you get respect!
