Behind the make-up and modeling is the 20-year-old, Durham, North Carolina native Kimberly Howard, also known as Kimmie. Kimmie has been modeling since she was 11 years old. As she got older many photographers approach her because they loved her look being that she is Korean and African American. However, modeling was put on hold for a second because of the birth of her daughter “Summer Molly’Ari McRae.” Having a daughter and working two jobs at DSW and Beauty World became a lot for her to take all at once. After about 2 weeks of having her baby, she was able to get her body back to the usual and start modeling. “I love modeling because I love to entertained, I get to meet so many new different people and just having your picture on promotions and parties ads…it’s great” says Kimmie. Modeling has its ups and downs but yet she is currently in school at the University of Phoenix to get her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. One name you can give Kimmie is a “go- getta”. Any man would love to have women with so much ambition. This ambition has helped her to stay the woman that she is through every situation that she has encountered in 2011. As 2012 is beginning, Kimmie most important goal for her career was to be in a magazine. “Being able to be in Tasteful Magazine has been a great way to and my year; it’s a plus because it did not have to be me. Although some may say I have a different look, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have worked hard to be where I stand today.” It’s nothing like a model with Ambition!
