I was born in Zaire where my father was in the Peace Corps teaching English and met my mother. I moved to California when I was five with my father. My mother is African and Portuguese and my father is Caucasian. I moved to DC almost two years ago for a change in scenery and was always getting approached about modeling. So far I’ve done a couple videos and three magazines but would love to do more!
TITANIUMGIRLZ NEW PRINCESS
ELLE BE
Hennywiz – How are you doing today, Elle Be?
Elle Be – I’m actually doing really good considering this ugly weather
Hennywiz – First off, Welcome to the Daily dose?
Elle Be – Thank you so much for interviewing me
Hennywiz – Where are you originally from and what’s your ethnic background for starters?
Elle Be – I’m from California (Bay area lol) but now live in DC. My father is Caucasian and my mother is African and Portuguese
Hennywiz – What are your measurements, for the people that don’t already know?
Elle Be – 34c 26 38 all in a small package
Hennywiz – What or who inspired you to begin a modeling career?
Elle Be – My grandmother was a model in the 50’s and she was always trying to get me to model but I was to shy. Then when I moved to DC a friend wanted me to do a photo shoot and ever since then I’ve been modeling.
Hennywiz – Have you been featured in any publications as of yet?
Elle Be – Yes I was in Hip Hop Weekly, Tearsheet, Dimepiece, and now TitaniumGirlz
Hennywiz – You’ve taken some nice photos. You seem to keep it classy but still have sex appeal with your shots. Is there a particular photographer you enjoy working with?
Elle Be – I think it’s very important to not be put in a category and have some substance to you so I try to still be sexy yet classy. I recently shot with Nate (who did my pictures for TitaniumGirlz) Henny from SSH Photography and Charles from IEC Studios
Hennywiz – With all the shoots you’ve done so far, which ones have been your most memorable so far?
Elle Be – My most memorable one would have to be my latest with Nate and Vansilk because I was at ease and we had fun
Hennywiz – What impact has modeling had on your personal life?
Elle Be – It gives you more attention but sometimes unwanted attention. It has also given me the opportunity to meet some really great people.
Hennywiz – In this forever evolving business, new faces emerge by the minute. What separates Elle Be from your peers?
Elle Be – I have such a bubbly spirit, I really enjoy modeling but I’m not going to do anything that I’m not comfortable with and I think some people would, that’s why we are labeled as “video hoes” and I’m all natural!
Hennywiz – Overall, what has been your opinion of the modeling industry as a whole?
Elle Be – There’s is a lot of competition out there and it’s very cut throat and I don’t think a lot of people respect urban models and they put us in a category which is very sad. Not everyone sleeps with this guy or that guy to get to where they need.
Hennywiz – What are some of your long term goals as you continue to progress in your career?
Elle Be – I hope to be in more videos, magazines, and one day a soap opera (fingers crossed!)
Hennywiz – What has been some of the highlights of your career?
Elle Be – Linking up with Vansilk Titaniumgirlz opened doors for me
Hennywiz – What other interest do you have besides modeling?
Elle Be – I want to finish school to become a nurse, I love playing sports, traveling, spending time with my family and friends, and I love to read. Knowledge is power.
Hennywiz – What turns you on the most?
Elle Be – Some one who will respect me as a woman
Hennywiz – What is an ultimate turn off for you?
Bad hygiene… if you don’t take care of yourself or keep up with yourself that’s trifling. Sorry to be so blunt. And I hate liars!
Hennywiz – Do you have any tattoos? If so where?
Elle Be – I have 6 tattoos. One on my ankle, one on my shoulder blade, one on my wrist, lower back, top back of my shoulder, and the back of my neck. But they aren’t big.
Hennywiz – How would you describe your fashion style?
Elle Be – I think my style is laid back yet sexy. One minute I might be in just jeans and a t-shirt and the next a dress or skirt and I love high heels! I think every woman loves a good pair of heels.
Hennywiz – What genre of music are you into and what’s in heavy rotation on your Ipod or Zune?
Elle Be – Gucci Mane, Jay-z, Lupe, Lady Antebellum, and Wale.
Hennywiz – What is one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you personally?
Elle Be – How open and down to earth I am because most people think I’m stuck up or can’t hold a conversation.
Hennywiz – What is your guilty pleasure?
Elle Be – Guys with tattoos…mmmmm sexy!
Hennywiz – Name some things you couldn’t live without?
Elle Be – I couldn’t live without laughter…I love to laugh and make other people laugh, music, shopping, and good food.
Hennywiz – What can we expect from you in the near future?
Elle Be – Hopefully more magazines, working on my website and other things that Vansilk has lined for me
Hennywiz – What advice do you have for inspiring models out there trying to break into the industry?
Elle Be – I would say be careful who you work with and don’t trust everybody because not everyone has your best interest at heart.
Hennywiz – I really appreciate you taking the time to grant me this interview. Anything you want to say to your fans out there?
Elle Be – Thank you guys for taking interest in me and to all my fans I really appreciate your support and I hope that you will continue to stick by me
