Hennywiz – For starters; what is your nationality and where are you from?
Blacc Diamond – I am African American / Belizean and I am repping The Bronx NY.
Hennywiz – What or who inspired you to pursue a career in the urban modeling industry?
Blacc Diamond – I’ve always like to be front and center. I am an entertainer of many ways at heart and I feel I am a piece of art work for the world to see.
Hennywiz – How long have you been modeling?
Blacc Diamond – It’s been almost four years now but we all know this is not an easy industry so my last two years been good to me. People now know the name and face of Blaccdiamond the Model but I am still working on expanding.
Hennywiz – For the readers that might not know; give a rundown of some of the other publications you’ve been featured in?
Blacc Diamond – I’ve been featured in ASIS presents Assets Magazine, Straight Stuntin Magazine, Featured in Stunnaz Magazine and also held down the Cover of Stunnaz Magazine. Most importantly I am also on the cover of my first published fiction novel written by me “B*TCH IN DISTRESS”. I’ve also done several other publications and Hip Hop DVD’s.
Hennywiz – You taken some hot photos, who are some of the photographers you’ve worked with to enhance your portfolio?
Blacc Diamond – I’ve worked with photographers like Rob Meggett, Frank Antonio, and so many more.
Hennywiz – With all the shoots you’ve done so far, which ones have been your most memorable?
Blacc Diamond – I’ve enjoyed almost all my shoots because when I shoot I always make sure I am in control from Location to Wardrobe to Poses and also If a Photographer does not give off good vibes I will not work with them.
Hennywiz – A question I tend to ask models/vixens is, in this forever evolving business, new faces emerge by the minute. What separates “Blaccdiamond” from your peers?
Blacc Diamond – What separates me is my Independent drive. I don’t sit around waiting for someone to make me hot, I make myself hot and I have so much to offer besides pretty looks not only that my look is so versatile. I write books, I rap, I put together events. I’m talented in many ways and beneficial to others.
Hennywiz – Overall, what has been your opinion of the Modeling industry?
Blacc Diamond – My opinion is that this industry is full of shit and it’s not really about the Art it’s about who you know and how much you willing to show. But I just do me in this industry and only do what I choose to do.
Hennywiz – What are some of your long term goals as you continue to progress in your career?
Blacc Diamond – I like to network and build connects because all the connects I make today will come in handy tomorrow. I plan on opening up a chain of high fashion boutiques.
Hennywiz – What other interest do you have besides modeling?
Blacc Diamond – I write. I just wrote and published my first Urban fiction Novel called “B*CH IN DISTRESS” and sells are going well. I independently sold 2000 copies since it dropped May 22. For my fans interested in getting a copy they can go to www.BarnesandNoble.com. I also Rap and I am really good at it, so I am back and forth to the studio putting together my mix tape.
Hennywiz – Is acting in your plans? Will we see Blaccdiamond on the big screen anytime soon?
Blacc Diamond – I’ve actually been featured as an extra in two movies. The Disney movie “The winning Season” and the movie “Notorious”, but truthfully my mind is not on acting at the moment.
Hennywiz – Now to get in your business now lol!! Single, Married, divorced?
Blacc Diamond – I’m in a relationship but when I fill out paper work I mark that Single box, if you know what I mean. LOL
Hennywiz – What advice do you have for someone that would like to approach you in public?
Blacc Diamond – DONOT call me MA, Shorty, YO, Don’t make that cat sound to me. Say hello, crack a joke or something. Truthfully my weakness is a fine chocolate brother who can make me laugh.
Hennywiz – What are some of the worst pick up lines you ever been hit with?
Blacc Diamond – There are so many. OMG…”Your legs must be tired cause you been running through my mind all day”. Another one is asking me for the time and I don’t have on a watch.
Hennywiz – What turns you on the most?
Blacc Diamond – An educated fine brother with a sense of humor and a cute smile.
Hennywiz – What is an ultimate turn off for you?
Blacc Diamond – Stink breath, no job, sagging pants and dirty finger nails!!
Hennywiz – Do you consider yourself a casual romantic or a super freak?
Blacc Diamond – Depends on my mood. I have been with the same guy for so long that I have to be a super freak to keep this relationship brand new. I can be freaky or romantic. I like to role play and get it on anywhere.
Hennywiz – How would you describe your fashion style?
Blacc Diamond – I am always ten steps ahead of the latest fashion trends so I guess I got an eye for fashion. I like to do my own thing when it comes to styling and I always get lots of compliments.
Hennywiz – What genre of music are you into?
Blacc Diamond – Rap, Hip hop and RnB.
Hennywiz – Drink of choice that gets you going?
Blacc Diamond – Oh Boy… those Long Island Ice Teas get me in trouble… I drink that when I want to be out of control on a freak nasty level. LOL
Hennywiz – What is one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you personally?
Blacc Diamond – I’m kind of goofy. I like to act silly and make people laugh.
Hennywiz – What is your guilty pleasure?
Blacc Diamond – I suck my thumb…
Hennywiz – Name some things you couldn’t live without?
Blacc Diamond – My lip gloss and my Pink Car that I love so much. LOL
Hennywiz – What can we expect from you in the near future?
Blacc Diamond – MY Mix tape. I’m ready to kick down the door of the rap game.
Hennywiz – What advice do you have for inspiring models out there trying to break into the industry?
Blacc Diamond – Don’t do it, run the other direction but if you really want to do it just don’t compromise yourself for anyone else only do what you want to do.
Hennywiz – You’ve recently published a new book; tell the readers what it’s about and where can we purchase it?
Blacc Diamond – My new book “B*TCH IN DISTRESS can be purchased on www.BarnesandNoble.com and it is an urban fiction Novel. In short it is about a girl whose mother and father are murdered she meets a guy who is a hit man; he begins to take care of her. He uses abuse and manipulation to control her. Her child gets murdered. She gets betrayed and when it’s said and done she takes the fall for her hit man boyfriends murders and gets sentence to triple life in jail. She is writing a letter to Barbara Walters to explain her story to the world.
