Interview:
Hennywiz: How are you doing today, Xio?
Xio: I’m great =)
Hennywiz: First off, Welcome to the Wiz’s Daily dose..
Hennywiz: Where are you from originally? What’s your ethnic background?
Xio: Born in Puerto Rico 🙂
Hennywiz: Xiomara is unique name is it your real or modeling name?
Xio: That is my real name; my modeling name is “Xio”
Hennywiz: What are your measurements, btw, for the people that don’t already know?
Xio: 34- 26-39
Hennywiz: What or who inspired you to begin a modeling career?
Xio: I never wanted to be a model, I was approached by a photographer one day at a salon, he said I had good bone structure, I thought he was a crazy guy! lol I ended up shooting after 2 weeks, I submitted my pics to maxim hometown hotties contest, 2 days later I was called for stuff magazine 🙂
Hennywiz: Congrats on the brilliant feature in Dream Curves magazine; how was your experience working on the spread?
Xio: Well this was the first magazine I have ever showed my “booty” so this was a very different experience then what I’m use too! lol but working with Del Anthony was amazing 🙂
Hennywiz: What other publications have you been featured in?
Xio: maxim espanol, super street bike, stuff, ib concepts, sg magazine, mma magazine, fineart magazine
Hennywiz: You’ve taken some amazing photos and the creativity behind them was brilliant. Is there a particular photographer you prefer to work with?
Xio: I have my favorites, I have been blessed and worked with amazing photographers such as Jennifer Vitalia, Del Anthony,Mike Brochu,Carlos Peralta those are definitely my favorites 🙂 as far as the creative photos I could not do it without Jules!
Hennywiz: With all the shoots you’ve done so far, which ones have been your most memorable?
Xio: Oh boy every shoot I do is an experience… so that’s hard for me to answer
Hennywiz: You’ve been several featured in music videos; is acting another craft that you’ve added to your repertoire?
Xio: Yes I have done my share of videos, I have hosted on TV and acting is next 🙂
Hennywiz: What impact has modeling had on your personal life?
Xio: I have realized who my true friends are
Hennywiz: Overall, what has been your opinion of the modeling industry?
Xio: The industry is very hard, but I love it, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with wonderful people. I have accomplished things that a lot of woman would love to have done in there life.
Hennywiz: What are some of your long term goals as you continue to progress in your career?
Xio: Modeling is not my career, I work in the fashion industry, and I am working on developing my own line
Hennywiz: What has been some of the highlights of your career?
Xio: I never expected to be on a magazine cover or videos, or even viewed as a guys dream girl, so every time I shoot or I’m on camera its just an amazing feeling.
Hennywiz: I’ve recently the viewed the “lights, camera, action show” @ The Deko lounge. You were looking fierce on the runway. How was that experience?
Xio: Well that show was created by me and my sister, I handled the casting, the choreography, music and my sister handled the hair and makeup, and clothes. Before I even considered modeling I am a dancer, I have been dancing since the age of 4. I wanted to put together something different and that’s how I came up with lights camera action.
Hennywiz: One question I tend to ask models and vixens in the business is, in this forever evolving business new models emerge on a daily basis. What separates “Xio” from your peers?
Xio: I am not your average girl, I work very hard at anything I do, if its modeling and you know anything about me then you know that I consider myself a chameleon. I could be like every other girl with a booty and just pose in a thong and bam I’m in all the magazines but that’s not me, I want to be known as a well rounded model who can actually model. NOT just a body.
Hennywiz: What other interest do you have besides modeling?
Xio: I love to dance, especially salsa 🙂
Hennywiz: What are some of your hobbies?
Xio: dancing, traveling, shopping
Hennywiz: Do you have a significant other? If so, how does he or she feel about you modeling?
Xio: No I don’t, I am single
Hennywiz: What qualities do you look for when choosing a significant other?
Xio: A true gentlemen, respectful, family oriented, hard working, someone who can protect me
Hennywiz: I want to assume your preference is men or is it women as well?
Xio: Men only
Hennywiz: What advice do you have for someone that would like to approach you in public?
Xio: Be yourself 🙂
Hennywiz: What are some of the worst pick up lines you ever been hit with?
Xio: Your father must be a terrorist bc you’re the bomb… I mean really??!!
Hennywiz: What turns you on the most?
Xio: Confidence
Hennywiz: What is an ultimate turn off for you?
Xio: Ugly teeth, ego, bad odor
Hennywiz: Do you consider yourself a casual romantic or super freak?
Xio: hahaha well I am queen of romance 🙂
Hennywiz: What is your ultimate sexual fantasy?
Xio: Fantasy??? I don’t have fantasies… I make them come true
Hennywiz: What part of your body are you most complimented on? What are your favorite assets on you?
Xio: I like my eyes and cheekbones, but I get most complimented on my booty, lol
Hennywiz: Do you have any tattoos? If so where?
Xio: No tattoos for me
Hennywiz: Do you have a special hidden talent? If so what is it?
Xio: I was a gymnast for 13 years
Hennywiz: What is one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you personally?
Xio: I’m a dork, everyone thinks I’m going to be this fancy, conceited girl and I am the opposite, very down to earth, up for anything 🙂
Hennywiz: How would describe your fashion style?
Xio: Great!
Hennywiz: What genre of music are you in to?
Xio: I listen to everything, hiphop, house, rock, Spanish
Hennywiz: What’s your mood music during a photoshoot?
Xio: Anything I can move too
Hennywiz: Drink of choice to get you going?
Xio: Martini
Hennywiz: What can we expect from you in the near future?
Xio: My clothing line
Hennywiz: What advice do you have for inspiring models out there trying to break into the industry?
Xio: Don’t feed into the bs, and make sure you have a backup plan, bc the next hot girl is around the corner
