What pisses me off about pro sports: “Put up and Shut up!!!”
Contract: “an agreement between two or more parties for the doing or not doing of something specified.”How the Hell are these athletes who have “x” amount of years on their contracts, OPT out of their contracts or Demand a renegotiation DURING the term of their contract? A contract is a contract, you are to perform during that time frame and once contract is done, they yes, you get a new one.
Life is so unfair. A migrant worker from the Philippines for example signs a contract to work as a maid in Italy, that worker is stuck working there until the contract is done. There’s no re-negotiation half way through! That person sucks it up for that term until its done!!
Reggie Bush, why the hell is he complaining? Has he lived up to the Gale Sayers comparison that he was projected to be? Has he lived up to the Heisman status that he was drafted for? Has he shouldered the Saints to win the Super Bowl? NO for all the above. He has NOT lived up to the Sayers comparison. NO he has NOT lived up to the Heisman that he won. NO, he did NOT carry his team to win the Superbowl. So what the hell are you complaining about? That your 6 year $52.5 MILLION IS NOT ENOUGH??? Try $10,000 for a year working as a maid you Moron!!!I say “Put up and Shut up!!!” You athletes are paid too much for what you do and that is to play a game. Whatever happened to those players who do it “for the love of the game” I’ll say, there will never be another player who will break Cal Ripken’s record because all the players today do nothing but complain. Complain about their turf toe, or they want a new contract because this guy is getting paid more. Shut up already and play!!! You signed the damn contract to play for “x” amount of years now put up the numbers and shut up. Until then Play the damn game. What makes you athlete more special than the typical migrant worker? Yeah, you play a sport and the team pays you to play for “x” amount and for “x” years. Same thing as the migrant worker “x” years for “x” dollars. What’s the difference? So again, “Put up and Shut up”

This is fact. Players must do their part also as they are paid to play. They must be responsible and grow as a player to learn, last and teach next generation to their way of success. People are now excited to watch the mayweather vs canelo fight which will be on November I guess.
